Greetings

Welcome to the website. For the past four years I have used Facebook as my conveyance through the Blogosphere. Graham White (http://www.gwhite.us) has done a tremendous job putting this site together. I am grateful for his patience and insight.

While I will continue to share things on Facebook and participate in its boisterous freeform banter, my more serious posts will emanate from mcelhinneyart.com.  This new blog will be focused on drawing, visual pedagogy, oral history, historical activities and new projects.

Visitors are encouraged to call on the site as frequently as they like, and to follow it on Facebook. Direct communications are welcome via the contact link on the toolbar.

  1. Nice website! Having just designed one for my business, I know what a daunting task it is. You are to be congratulated. The moving pages of your sketchbook on the homepage draw the visitor right in. Well done. Your curriculum vitae is remarkable. I am grateful that you invite comment, and look forward to visiting again. Regards.

  2. Thanks Bob. I had a lot of help. Graham White is an artist and designer who draws in my class at the League. After several abortive attempts to create a website with others I started working with Graham, who made the task very straightforward. It still required me to pay a lot of attention to details and content, a process that evolved into a conversation about how to create this virtual environment. I hope visitors to the site will find it useful, including the links to related sites. Be well, J
