A conversation with Deirdre Murphy, recipient of the Ecotopian Toolkit award from the Penn Program in Environmental Humanities. Murphy’s color intaglio print “Mapping Movements” (above), charting avian migration in the lower Schuylkill valley, was produced with Philadelphia master printer Cindi Royce Ettinger. The work is currently on view in the exhibition “O.T.W. On the Water: The Schuylkill River,” at Independence Seaport Museum at Philadelphia’s Penn’s Landing.The show runs through September 2019.
