At the outbreak of COVID-19, Kathie and I retreated to our Manhattan apartment. Sitting down to write every day temporarily replaced the practice of making visual art. Family, friends and colleagues endured similar confinement. These posts were written with them in mind, in solidarity with others sheltering-in-place.
